ATLANTA, GA -- The Tupac Amaru Shakur Foundation is embarking on a unique fundraising effort designed to assist in the care and up-keep of its Georgia facility. The Foundation, created in 1997 by Afeni Shakur, has strived to provide quality arts training and host peaceful events for young people.
In order to support the Foundation's contributions to the community, they have joined forces with Kamil "Muszamil" Beale and legendary Hip Hop producer Dame Grease to create a single featuring several Hip Hop luminaries appearing in support of 2Pac. The single, which will be sold as a $0.99 download on 2Pac.com with all funds going to the Foundation, will be accompanied by a free mixtape featuring even more of Hip Hop's finest continuing the legacy created by Tupac Shakur. Dame Grease, as well as the other artists and producers who are taking part in this venture, are donating their time and talents as a way of showing support for the Tupac Amaru Shakur Foundation and its mission.
