In 2008, Termanology began making a name for himself, he had several highly-acclaimed singles in rotation and when DJ Premier laced him with one of his signature, scratch-laden beats on "Watch How It Go Down" the hood conscious anthem became an underground classic; and with it Termanology thrust himself onto hip-hop's international radar.
Soon after, Term released his solo-debut, Politics As Usual, a project that included a Mount Rushmore like array of producers; DJ Premier, Pete Rock, Large Professor, Havoc, Alchemist, Hi-Tek, Buckwild, Easy Mo Bee & Nottz. Politics As Usual was one of those rare projects which managed to merge the best of both worlds for Hip-Hop fans; meshing classic boom-bap production from a virtual who's who list of production royalty with Term’s lyricism, swagger and bravado.
Just as in life, in hip-hop everything comes full-circle and while a lot has changed since Termanology released his debut; he’s back with More Politics. Similar to his debut, More Politics again brings together the elite of the elite beatsmiths, as Just Blaze, Q-Tip, Buckwild, Hi-Tek, Nottz, Dame Grease, J.U.S.T.I.C.E. League and his brother from another mother Statik Selektah all contribute production. Further, Term has also recruited all-star cast of luminaries to round out what promises to be one of 2016’s most diverse projects; Joey Bada$$, Bun B, Styles P, Sheek Louch, Saigon, KXNG Crooked, Bodega Bamz, Westside Gunn, Conway, Your Old Droog & Chris Rivers.
“I am very excited to get back to my original formula of composing an album with nothing but legends behind the boards” Term states. “Even though I have done a bunch of projects with other artists, including collaborative albums with StatikSelektah and Lil Fame of MOP, among others (EP’s and mixtapes), More Politics is my second official album. I’m very proud of it and I can’t wait to see how the fans react to it. One of the most exciting things about working on a new project is connecting with people you haven’t worked with before. In this case that would be Just Blaze, Dame Grease, Q-Tip & J.U.S.T.I.C.E. League; all producers I am a big fan of. Having them on the album is truly a blessing."

More on the History of 1871 The Chicago, also called the Great Chicago Fire, burned from October 8 to October 10, 1871, and destroyed thousands of buildings, killed an estimated 300 people and caused an estimated $200 million in damages. Legend has it that a cow kicked over a lantern in a barn and started the fire, but other theories hold that humans or even a meteor might have been responsible for the event that left an area of about four miles long and almost a mile wide of the Windy City, including its business district, in ruins. Following the blaze, reconstruction efforts began quickly and spurred great economic development and population growth. Click Here for full bio.
DAME GREASE AIMS FOR HIP HOP WORLD RECORD via Mantez
Multi-platinum producer Dame Grease, known for his work with DMX, Jadakiss, and many others, has serious plans for the New Year. Grease intends to put 2016 to good use and set the Guinness World Record for producing and releasing the most Hip Hop songs in a single year. However, anyone concerned about quantity influencing quality need not worry, says Grease.
"I believe this could be something great for Hip Hop, something that brings more fun to the game," states Dame. "While the record is based on the number of songs, I think the true challenge and fun is the effort to make the music itself great. I feel as if my track record, whether it's with DMX or Max B or anyone else I've worked with, shows my dedication towards ensuring quality music."
Expect to see many notable Hip Hop artists participating in this historic undertaking, as well as emcees who are generating a significant buzz and even the occasional unsigned, "diamond in the rough" talent.
"While most of the music will feature people that Hip Hop heads know of, I also wanted to make this about the Hip Hop community and include emcees who haven't had their opportunity yet. Whether it's a superstar like Snoop Dogg or a dope new guy who happens to be making songs in his basement, I want them to be able to reach me and be a part of this," Dame explained.
In keeping with this theme, Dame Grease has asked artists and managers who are interested in being involved in the record-setting endeavor to either contact Jason Mantez, his manager and A&R, via Twitter (www.twitter.com/mantez) and/or to send an email to GreaseWorldRecord@gmail.com to get in touch with Dame's team.
When asked which artists he planned to make history with, Dame replied, "You'll see a lot of people you're accustomed to me producing for, and a lot of familiar faces who I've never worked with prior to this year. There are also guys I started collaborating with recently, like Bishop Lamont and Swifty McVay from D12, that I really vibed with musically and want to involve in my attempt at this world record."
The release of each song will be catalogued, promoted, and documented from 12:00PM EST December 31, 2015 to 12:00PM EST December 31, 2016, so that at year's end the proof of the final tally can be submitted to Guinness World Records. To kick off this historic event, Dame has linked up with one Hip Hop's great talents: the Purple Diva herself, Dina Rae. Dina, joined by her fellow Technology Affair group member Thunderblair, unites with Grease on the melodically infectious "Do You."
